Combustion Tower

This project was for a Water Cooled Combustion Tower. Consisted of an Inner Shell made from 12mm thick 316 Stainless Steel at 2.7meter diameter. This was then encased in a 10mm Mild Steel Outer Shell at 3.0meter diameter. All welds had to be air-tight, and new Weld Procedures had to be qualified for this project. From receipt of order to the completed vessel leaving our workshop, just 28 days had passed (this included the time it took for us to widen the door of the workshop to enable us to undertake this project). Completed dimensions of Vessel: 9 meters in height, 3 meters in diameter, and 15 tons in weight.
